Top 10 Baby Products

Sharing our most used baby products from newborn to toddler years to get your money’s worth on all of these baby essentials. We use some of these products multiple times a day, every single day. These are my can’t live without newborn must haves, baby products and toddler essentials that has helped me so much during motherhood and hoping these recommendations will help you as well.

  1. Baby monitor – this is a safe monitor because there is no Wi-Fi capability here to prevent hackers and no data is being shared over the internet. The camera quality is also superb to see your baby sleep during the day and night.
  2. White noise – no need to tip-toe out of their rooms after you’ve successfully put them down for bed. This also helps baby fresh out of the womb to continue sleeping in that white noise environment (i.e., mom’s heart beating, talking, eating, breathing, body fluids, etc.) when they were in the womb. This also serves as a great night light and for them to grow into many years later.
  3. Crib mattress 2-sided – save money on buying just one mattress that will last your child several years. Stage 1 is the firmer side for babies to prevent SIDS. You simply flip the mattress over when they transition into toddler years for stage 2, which is a softer side for them. Parent tip: invest in a waterproof mattress cover because it will save you so much time from cleaning the vomit and poop explosions AND protect the mattress.
  4. Cool mist humidifier – this is an essential if you experience cooler weather during the winter. The colder the weather and the furnace running inside the home makes the air dry and thus can irritate the airway. A humidifier prevents your child from having an itchy throat and bloody nose. Just make sure that it’s a cool mist humidifier for safety reasons. These aquasticks help keep the humidifier clean but you should still clean it often to prevent mold or mildew.
  5. Boppy pillow – multipurpose pillow that supports breastfeeding, baby sitting stage, tummy time, and then toddlers love using it as a pillow while lounging around. They have tons of different pillow covers to choose from.
  6. Diaper bag – backpacks are the way to go. They are so much more convenient than a messenger diaper bag. Your arms and hands are free to hold your baby, haul around your shopping bags, or chasing after a toddler. It also looks stylish!
  7. Car seat – my favorite convertible carseat and seriously one of the best in the market right now (in my opinion). Safety is top notch with extra side impact protection, foam all around, and the entire frame is made out of steel. Comfort is another important factor to ensure your child is comfortable during car rides because we don’t want a cranky baby in the car. It has all the bells and whistles and looks so plush.
  8. Maintenance: Baby and toddler nails grow ridiculously fast. You would need to trim their nails almost weekly! Definitely have these baby clippers on hand or this clipper with a spy hole to see more easily. Booger sucker is exactly what it sounds like… you literally suck the booger out with a straw! But no worries, there’s a barrier to catch it so it won’t go into your mouth. But this is a lifesaver when they have a runny or stuffy nose – so much easier than those blue suction bulbs the hospital gives you.
  9. Baby Aquaphor – this is a baby essential for mild eczema, diaper rash, and drool rashes.
  10. Glider chair – we have spent countless hours in this glider for all the naps, bedtime stories, and nursing sessions. So comfort is key! This glider rocks, has a 360 swivel, and the fabric is very forgiving for all the spit ups, vomits, and the boobies leaking.
