Hi there! I’m Tina and “Slayer” is my alias surname to remind myself that I have an inner bad-ass mentality to TCB. But instead of slaying vampires like Buffy did, I’m “slaying” in other things like – being a mom, a chef, a housekeeper and interior designer for my family, and everything in between.

This outlet was created after my YouTube channel. Filming and video editing became difficult to squeeze in my schedule with a baby. Although, I still post occasionally on YT, I wanted to provide a more consistent source with this blog because I have so many things I want to share with you all. I’m here to share tips and life hacks on how to take on mom life, our favorite family recipes, some inspiration on travel and home decor, and look stylish and feel confident while doing all of the above! FASHION – My overall style is a mix between business casual (for my 9-5 job) + on-the-go outfits (busy mom) + comfort but cute… mom jeans FTW! Sizes vary based on brands but mainly: tops (S), blazers (S/M), dresses (4), and pants/jeans (4 or ~28). Also here to share cute kids fashion.

PARENTING – first-time mom so I’m learning as I’m going but I enjoy helping out other parents on what I have experienced, i.e., breastfeeding, newborn tips, child activities, sleep training, toddler life and overall parenting life hacks.
TRAVEL – we are based in VA (less than an hour outside of D.C.) and we used to travel several times a year but due to COVID-19… we won’t resume traveling in 2020. But when it’s safe to start traveling again, you can find helpful travel guides on our favorite places to visit and eat.
